Q: What areas of law does CCS work with?
A: We work in a variety of areas of law that fall under the general commercial or corporate umbrella. Real estate, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, intellectual property, labor and employment, securities, etc.
Q: When working on a project, who will be my employer?
A: When starting an assignment you will be either set up as an employee or independent contractor through CCS depending on the specifics of the project.
Q: Do I need malpractice insurance?
A: Depending on the project, yes, you may need to have malpractice insurance.
Q: Are the projects onsite or offsite?
A: Projects may be either onsite or offsite.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: You will be paid bi-weekly as long as you turn in your hours worked weekly and they are approved. Checks will be mailed or they can be picked up.
Q: Does this cost me anything?
A: No. Companies pay us directly to find highly qualified candidates.
Q: What level of attorneys do you work with?
A: We work with all levels of attorneys from associate to partner level.
Q: What is the average length of assignments?
A: The length of assignments is completely project dependent. They can range from one day to one year or longer.
Q: Am I guaranteed a certain amount of hours when starting a project?
A: No. The nature of temporary work is that the project can start, end or stall at any given time based of the client’s needs.
