The ideal candidate for this position has at least three years of experience in a Legal Secretary role, ideally supporting an attorney in a commercial lending or corporate services practice area, and very strong computer skills, especially in the Microsoft Office suite. This position will support a shareholder and requires a confident candidate who has past experience interacting with high-level individuals.  Candidates with an office manager or executive assistant background, with some exposure to the legal field, will also be considered for this role.     Legal/Administrative Assistant 

    Our client, a very reputable Milwaukee law firm, is searching for a Legal/Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate for this position has at least two years of recent experience in a Legal Assistant role and MUST have top-notch computer skills. Candidates with no legal experience but administrative experience and excellent computer skills will also be considered for this position. This position is in the firm’s Resource Center and will support all of the firm’s departments with any request.

    Position responsibilities will include but not be limited to: creating and editing legal documents, dictation/transcription, proofreading, creating tables of content, entering attorney time, etc.

    Bookkeeper- Part-Time 

    Our client, a non-profit organization, is searching for a Part Time Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate for this position has at least five years of bookkeeping experience and a thorough working knowledge of Quickbooks. This candidate must also be very detail-oriented, able to work with a wide variety of individuals, and should ideally have prior experience setting up systems and processes.

    Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    *Developing system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts;  defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
    *Maintaining subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
    *Balancing subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
    *Maintaining general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
    *Balancing general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
    *Maintaining historical records by filing documents.
    *Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
    *Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.

    Contracts Paralegal

    Our client, a large healthcare organization, is searching for a Contracts Paralegal.

    Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    -Administering requests for routine legal document review, including contract review and assessment from start to finish.
    -Assisting in the utilization of the contract management system.
    -Participating in audits of contracts and other internal reviews.
    -Performing assigned legal research.
    -Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with key client contacts.
    -Gathering and reviewing information to assist with the development of client objectives.
     
    The ideal candidate for this position must have a thorough knowledge of contracting processes and methods and at least three years of experience in a paralegal role, working with contracts. This candidate must also have either a Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate and strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite.
