    Legal/Administrative Assistant 

    Our client, a very reputable Milwaukee law firm, is searching for a Legal/Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate for this position has at least two years of recent experience in a Legal Assistant role and MUST have top-notch computer skills. Candidates with no legal experience but administrative experience and excellent computer skills will also be considered for this position. This position is in the firm’s Resource Center and will support all of the firm’s departments with any request.

    Position responsibilities will include but not be limited to: creating and editing legal documents, dictation/transcription, proofreading, creating tables of content, entering attorney time, etc.

    Contracts Paralegal

    Our client, a large healthcare organization, is searching for a Contracts Paralegal.

    Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    -Administering requests for routine legal document review, including contract review and assessment from start to finish.
    -Assisting in the utilization of the contract management system.
    -Participating in audits of contracts and other internal reviews.
    -Performing assigned legal research.
    -Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with key client contacts.
    -Gathering and reviewing information to assist with the development of client objectives.
     
    The ideal candidate for this position must have a thorough knowledge of contracting processes and methods and at least three years of experience in a paralegal role, working with contracts.     Legal Assistant- Litigation/Information Management

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: drafting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence, maintaining the attorney’s calendar and scheduling court dates, screening phone calls, creating travel arrangements, completing the attorneys billing, etc. The person in this position is also responsible for the information management of a database that is used by attorneys nationwide. This database involves more than data entry- it includes reviewing legal documents, finding pertinent information, ensuring this information is correct and comparing it to legal principles, placing this information into the database, ensuring it is updated, etc.
     
    The ideal candidate for this position has at least one year of solid litigation experience, a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in English), strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite, and is extremely accurate and detail-oriented. Candidates with the majority of these requirements will also be considered.

    Senior In-House Counsel-Madison, WI


    The Senior Attorney will have a broad range of responsibilies and will generally be expected to assist with all of company's legal affairs. You must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work proactively with various teams across the organization. This position reports to the Corporate General Counsel.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide advice and support company-wide on a variety of legal issues on a daily basis in a timely and effective manner.
    • Negotiating and drafting transactional documents for our business units.
    • M&A and Corporate Maintenance
    • Working knowledge of trademark, and other intellectual property law.
    • Internet Compliance
    • Demonstrates ability to implement legal strategies and meet business goals.
    • Assist on other matters as needed.

    Requirements

    • JD degree, from an ABA-approved law school.
    • Admission to practice law in the State of Wisconsin.
    • The qualified candidate will have at least 8-12 years’ experience practicing law (both law firm and in-house experience preferred).
    • Strong communication (written and verbal), negotiation and organizational skills
    • International transactions and business experience a strong plus.
    • Privately held company experience a plus.
    • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with Senior Management.
    • Demonstrate strong customer service relationship and ability to successfully negotiate.
    • Demonstrate a proactive problem solving approach with changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
    • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and exercise sound business judgment with critical thinking skills and high ethical standards.
