    Bookkeeper- Part-Time 

    Our client, a non-profit organization, is searching for a Part Time Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate for this position has at least five years of bookkeeping experience and a thorough working knowledge of Quickbooks. This candidate must also be very detail-oriented, able to work with a wide variety of individuals, and should ideally have prior experience setting up systems and processes.

    Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    *Developing system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts;  defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
    *Maintaining subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
    *Balancing subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
    *Maintaining general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
    *Balancing general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
    *Maintaining historical records by filing documents.
    *Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
    *Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing      adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
    *Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Purchasing Catalog Administrator

    Our client, a large manufacturer, is searching for a temporary Purchasing Catalog Administrator. The ideal candidate for this position has at least three years of experience in a purchasing department, good skills in the Microsoft Office suite, knowledge of commodities and/or MRO parts and equipment and good data entry skills. This candidate must also have at least an Associate Degree in business, accounting or communication. 

    Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    -Creating and maintaining data in the purchasing catalog.
    -Overseeing and protecting the integrity of catalog data.
    -Routinely auditing existing items for duplication, obsolescence and accuracy.
    -Researching and verifying item information internally and externally.
    -Entering data for new catalog items.
    -Working with Purchasing Buyers and Coordinators to maintain supplier data.
    -Working with suppliers to exchange data.
     
    This is a temporary position scheduled to begin as soon as possible. This position is anticipated to last until August 2013.
